Compatible with most mobile phones, the M-DEX streams phone conversations directly in your hearing aid for a vastly-improved listening experience - makes phone calls less painful for hearing aid wearers. The M-DEX also has an onboard telecoil which allows access to loop systems for Widex Clear and Dream wireless hearing aids including CIC hearing aid wearers!
Room Off: A unique feature of the M-DEX is what we call ‘Room Off’. This turns the hearing aids’ microphones off temporarily so you can only hear your mobile – allowing you to concentrate on the conversation without being disturbed by surrounding sounds.
Remote control: The M-DEX can also be used as an advanced remote control for volume and program shift.
FreeFocus: M-DEX can also be used in FreeFocus mode. FreeFocus lets you focus in selected directions, such as left, right and behind, without having to turn your head.
The M-DEX is compatible with Widex wireless hearing aids such as Widex Clear and Dream, Fusion, Passion, Super. It is not compatible with the new Unique range of Widex wireless hearing aids.
NB. The Widex M-DEX will need to be paired to your Widex hearing aids for it to work. You will need to arrange for this locally (you may be charged a fee for this service). This remote control does not work with all hearing aids in the Widex range, our suggestion is that you contact us via our webform on the Contacts page with details before purchase and we will advise accordingly.
